Back To It
After hoarding parts and supplies for about a year, and being too damn busy with work to do anything with Vicky, I decided to get to work last weekend.
I started restoring the steering wheel. I used KBS NuMetal to fill the cracks, after I drilled them out. The weather has turned crappy so I haven’t had a chance to paint it yet. Plus it still needs a couple rounds of wet sanding.

This weekend it was time to pull the engine and transmission!
Hopefully next weekend it will warm back up and I can clean/degrease the front end and start pulling it apart for the Granada power disc conversion, Aerostar springs and all new bushings, etc.
The engine is a ways out yet and my body guy can’t take it for 4 weeks (which really means 6 or 7!!) so I’ll keep myself busy with the front end until then.
BTW – I have some stuff for sale if anyone is interested – the fordomatic, a B intake and some other things. Seehttp://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s…ght=fordomatic
